A.K.M. Haruner Rashid, FCS is the CEO and Lead Consultant of Haruner Rashid & Associates, an Independent Professional Chartered Secretaries firm. He is a Chartered Secretary- Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB). He was the Registrar of Bangladesh Board of Unani and Ayurvedic Systems of Medicine established under the Bangladesh Unani and Ayurvedic Practitioners Ordinance, 1983 from 1998 to 2019. At the same time, he was the Secretary and Controller of Examinations under section 15(3) and 21(4) respectively of the said Ordinance. Mr. Haruner Rashid did his graduation with Honors in Accounting and Master of Accounting from Dhaka University, He also did Master in Management and Bachelor of Law from National University of Bangladesh. He visited many countries and participated various seminars, conferences and training programs. He is a knowledgeable individual with integrity, financial laws, regulatory requirements and corporate laws. Mr. Haruner Rashid is a proactive member of different social organizations, working in the field of corporate, education, health, orphanage, peace etc, and obtained many awards from home and abroad.
